Solaris

Solaris is an ode to the symbiotic harmony between the ever emerging silicone based lifeforms and sacred geometry. This LED light is comprised of 8 wooden layers and an acrylic core.  It features a Fire Quartz centre and is surrounded by Clear Quartz and Garden Quartz spheres.  Programable through the GRID Connect phone App, this light has extensive settings, including sound syncing and modern smart features.  Solaris can be reversed to reveal lighter wooden tones. 

Clear Quartz is one of the most abundant and versatile minerals on Earth.  It is known for its glassy lustre and its excellent transparency which allows light to pass through easily. Clear Quartz forms through the crystallisation of silica-rich fluids, either during the cooling of magma in igneous rocks or as solutions in hydrothermal veins. It can also result from the recrystallisation of existing quartz grains under high pressure and temperature conditions during the formation of certain metamorphic rocks.  Clear Quartz belongs to the hexagonal crystal system and has a ranking of 7 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making it resistant to scratching. Metaphysically, Clear Quartz is believed to enhance energy, focus, and the effects of other crystals.  It is associated with all chakras as it is considered a versatile and balancing crystal. 

Fire Quartz is a quartz crystal that has inclusions of an iron oxide mineral called Hematite. During the growth process, the hematite imparts a distinctive reddish-orange colour that creates unique patterns resembling flames within the quartz structure.  Fire Quartz is thought to have protective properties, promoting a sense of security and strength. It is often associated with the Root Chakra due to the grounding nature of Hematite.

Garden Quartz or Lodolite, is a type of quartz crystal that contains visible inclusions or internal features. These inclusions vary widely and include minerals such as chlorite, feldspar and hematite.  The name Garden Quartz describes the unique patterns that appear from these inclusions, which often resemble landscapes and underwater scenes.  Metaphysically, Garden Quartz is thought to enhance spiritual growth, facilitate healing, and bring about a sense of tranquility.
