Ethically fossicked in Winton, Queensland, our boulder opal is hand cut and polished by us, in the bus. Authentic Adorning expertly wraps our pieces in copper wire and strings them on hand waxed hemp cord.
Australian boulder opal is formed over many millions of years and is the result of silica-rich water evaporating from cracks within ironstone boulders. This piece of boulder opal has been sculpted into a striking triangle shape, featuring strong and angular edges. Subtle flecks of yellow, purple and green can be seen flashing against this golden iron stone.
