About Us
Nature Matrix is a collaborative project that runs out of a mobile bus studio. This venture began as a way to use up excess building scraps from renovating said bus, turning leftover wood, stains and glue into jewellery. By utilising laser cutting skills learnt during the bus build, nearly every scrap of landfill destined timber has been transformed into a pair of earrings or piece of art. Nature Matrix has since evolved further, and now includes a diverse range of projects such as laser cut art, lapidary, silversmithing, wood turning and CNC routing. Sustainability is at the forefront of our creative processes and we endeavour to use environmentally appropriate techniques and materials whenever we can. Wherever possible, we run our tools and machines off of solar power.
