Nature Matrix is a collaborative project that runs from our mobile bus studio. This venture began as a way to use up excess building scraps from renovating the Bus, turning leftover wood, stains and glue into jewellery and wall hangings. By utilising laser cutting skills learnt during the bus build, nearly every scrap of landfill destined timber was transformed into a pair of earrings or piece of art. Nature Matrix has since evolved and now includes a diverse range of projects such as laser cut art, lapidary, silversmithing, wood turning and CNC routing. Sustainability is at the heart of our creative processes and we endeavour to use environmentally appropriate techniques and materials where possible. Whenever we can, we run our tools and machines from solar generated power.
